Reporting to Director Academics – Schools.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Singularly responsible for managing and coordinating the educational and administrative
affairs of a school
2. Plan workforce, requisition for vacant positions, select staff shortlisted & lined-up by the HR
department and induct them into the school.
3. Prepare a time table and develop workload for each staff.
4. Serve as one of the key input providers to the budget developed by the finance & accounts
department
5. Singularly responsible for managing the entire student admission process from end to end
in line with the admissions strategy developed by the marketing department.
6. Ordering lab consumables, etc. with a view to minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
7. Serve as the custodian for all fixed and movable assets of the school to prevent theft,
pilferage or leakage.
8. Manage all school publications and the entire process of publishing them on time, within
budget and as per quality standards.
+. Singularly responsible for planning, managing and successfully executing all major and
minor on-site and off-site events such as Annual Day, Picnics, Grandparents Day, etc.
10. Identify student and staff needs and develop ways of addressing those needs.
11. Singularly responsible for implementing systems and procedures to check school
performance
12. Singularly responsible for timely collection of fees from students
13. Managing the collection and storage of administrative information from students.
14. Serving as the customer and managing the outsourcing relationship with internal &
external service providers such as transport, food services, housekeeping, security, uniform
provider, stationery provider, tour operator, etc.
15. Singularly responsible for successfully conducting all internal and external examinations.
16. Enforcing discipline within the school
17. Contributing to organization-wide change projects and serving as a catalyst for positive
change
18. Promote the use of technology in every aspect of school life
1+. Represent the school at administrative meetings.
20. Liaise with other schools, parents and the wider community
21. Identifying and eliminating gray areas not clearly defined by established standards and
processes.
22. Ensuring timely preparation and presentation of internal and external reports
23. Exercising good judgment and wisdom while taking appropriate action to address any
variations/deviations.
24. Maintaining cordial relations while getting work done from class four staff and menial staff
25. Perform teaching tasks as required
26. Perform duties and tasks for other entities of UE as delegated from time to time.
27. Performing all duties in accordance with the UE Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles
Essential Qualifications:
1. Post Graduate degree in Arts or Science subjects.
2. B.Ed. degree or Equivalent qualification.
3. Minimum of 05 years of school teaching experience.
4. Minimum of 02 years of administrative experience
Desirable Qualification:
1. 5 years or more experience as Vice Principal or Principal in any reputed School.

1. Sound people management skills.
2. Ability to anticipate, identify, analyze and solve a broad range of problems and issues.
3. Expert in email operations and etiquette.
4. Good command over excel and other business applications on the PC.
5. Loads of common-sense and good operations acumen.
6. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
7. Ability to write reports, process manuals, and business correspondence.
8. Ability to present information using MS PowerPoint and respond to questions from groups
of parents and fellow managers.
