PrimaryLocation: Remote Open to most locations in ContinentalUS
Summary:
TheOperations Specialist will learn various rating functions &processes in order to support Underwriting with critical datanecessary for their risk pricing process. They will review analyzeand prepare rating for multiple lines of business. An OperationsSpecialist will develop their knowledge through selfstudy coursesand formal ratingtraining.
Whatyou willdo:
• Ensurepolicy transactions are rated booked invoiced and issued accuratelyand meet the corporate time service standards. Such transactionsmay be quotes new business renewals endorsements andcancellations.
• Screentransactions to determine proper processing. Refer transactions tounderwriters that require their approval complete transactionsdirectly if within delegated authoritylimits.
• Assistin quality verification of all policy transactions processes andprocedures.
• Reportpolicy data to third party reporting agencies such as ePlaceRegistration.
• Communicateas needed with Accounting and Audit to answer policy questions andresolveissues.
• Workwith system support to test releases when the verification ofsuccessful programming involves a review of the productionenvironment.
• Electronicallyprint documents into the imaging system page mark and label thedocuments appropriately adhering to the corporateprotocols.
• Lossintake and claimssupport.
WhatYOU will bring toC&F:
• Insurancepolicy processing experience aplus
• Bachelors degreepreferred
• Detailoriented with the ability to make independentdecisions
• Abilityto follow protocol with an emphasis on quality and customerservice
• Proficientin Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel Outlook Access) andother softwareapplications
• Excellentorganizational prioritizing and time managementskills
• Effectivecommunication skills in person and over thephone
• Willabide by departmental policies and procedures including authoritylevels to comply with C&Fs risk managementcontrols.
Additionallythe successful candidate will be highly motivated with a positiveoutgoing personality possess an entrepreneurial spirit have aservice mentality and be comfortable in a fast pacedenvironment.
