Summary: The Operations Support Associate, F&B is responsible for servicing food and beverage to guests in all approved public eating areas on the 1440 campus.
Essential Responsibilities will include the following, and other duties may be assigned.

Customer Experience Duties:
Delivers exceptional customer service for all customer interactions while maintaining a working knowledge of all product and service offerings and recommends items that are deemed suited to the guests' preferences.
Forward any concerns, issues, and unique requests that can be addressed by their Supervisor or Manager while maintaining a calm demeanor in a high-volume environment.
Determines where guests would like to eat their meals and help them get situated.
Food and Beverage Duties:
Takes food orders and relays orders to the bar, kitchens, or serving counters so they can be filled.
Maintains a working knowledge of the menu service and provides ingredient details to guests as necessary while asking about dietary restrictions or special requests of guests.
Records amounts and types of special food items served to customers
Prepares food items, such as sandwiches, salads, soups, or beverages.
Carries food, beverage, silverware, or linen on trays or uses carts to carry trays.
Places food servings on plates and beverages on trays according to the orders and instructions provided with additional accessories such as eating utensils, napkins, or condiments as identified.
Ensures that trays contain the requested items for each guest.
Removes trays and stacks dishes for return to kitchen after meals are finished.
Totals checks, presents them to guests, and accepts payment for services.
Cleans and sanitizes dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, or facilities.
Stocks service stations with items such as ice, napkins, or straws.
Other Duties:
Assists Café with the preparation of daily needs to deliver exceptional sales and service to guests.
Supports the Rooms division operations by performing front desk duties, offering the 3 stages of authentic service to our guests, assisting guests as needed during their stay on campus, and contributing to Housekeeping basic tasks as per operations needs.
Provides on-site production support to guests and presenters and participates in the set up and breakdown of events spaces
Aids reservations by ensuring a smooth operation of guest reservations.
Assists in safety and security processes and protocols.
Other Duties:
Supports servicing food and beverage to guests in all approved public eating areas on the 1440 campus

Education:
Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Preferred: One-year certificate from college or technical school.
Experience:
Required: Experience in a position that focuses on the Hospitality, Point of Sales, Service Industry, Non Profit, Health and Wellness, Accounting, Audio Video industry.
Language Requirements:
Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Language Skills: Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Writes routine reports and correspondence and speaks effectively before groups of guests or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Must possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions while dealing with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Business Acumen: Must understand the business implications of decisions; displays orientation to profitability; demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; aligns work with strategic goals; demonstrates understanding of current role and job responsibilities. Acts with accountability while committing to achieve 1440's financial goals and mission objectives.
Computer Skills: Must have knowledge of Internet software, and Microsoft Suite of Products, Adobe Creative Cloud and type 50 WPM.
