Mission-Driven Mental Health Practice – Houston, TX
We are a long-standing bilingual mental health practice serving children, adolescents, and families in the Houston community for over 40 years. In addition to our clinical services, we are developing a mission-aligned community program, Safe Harbor Paws, focused on compassionate, structured care.
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Operations Assistant to help support and stabilize daily operations across both programs.
This position reports directly to the Executive Director to ensure smooth administrative and operational workflow.

This is a hands-on operational support role in a small practice environment. It is not a corporate executive position. We are looking for someone steady, mature, and dependable who wants to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily operational support to the Executive Director
Submit brief end-of-day written task reports
Track assigned projects using a structured task system
Confirm staffing and scheduling needs in advance
Support front office workflow and organization
Assist in maintaining accountability and follow-through among team members
Coordinate basic vendor, administrative, and scheduling communications
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Cross-Program Support:
Provide operational coordination for both our clinical practice (Bilingual Psychological Associates) and our affiliated program (Safe Harbor Paws)
Assist in organizing workflows, communications, and project tracking across both programs
Help maintain structured reporting and operational consistency
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently with accountability
Professional demeanor and steady temperament
Prior administrative or operations experience preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on level of education and experience. Applicants will be asked to submit a copy of their diplomas demonstrating Highest level education achieved
Opportunity for increased responsibility and compensation based on performance after 90 days.
