Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Export Operations Executive to manage and execute all export-related documentation and shipping coordination. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of international shipments and compliance with global trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process complete export documentation including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, Bill of Lading, and other regulatory documents.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Customs House Agents), and shipping lines for booking and dispatch.
Ensure timely submission of documents to banks under LC, DP, or Advance payment terms.
Handle post-shipment documentation and follow up for Bill of Entry and EP copies.
Liaise with production, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Maintain export records and filing in accordance with company and customs requirements.
Manage DGFT documentation like advance license, EPCG, and RCMC as needed.
Ensure compliance with all export laws and regulations including jewelry hallmarking and HS codes.
Coordinate with international clients regarding shipping updates and documentation.
Requirements:
Graduate in Commerce/Business/Logistics or related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in export operations, preferably in the jewelry or handicrafts sector.
Strong knowledge of export documentation, shipping terms (INCOTERMS), and logistics.
Familiarity with DGFT, ICEGATE, and other export-related portals.
Good communication skills (verbal & written) in English.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and documentation software.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of customs and EDI systems.
