Key Responsibilities
• Maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory. Identify issues and recommend optimizations for TSQL queries, stored procedures, and functions within Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Collaborate with data engineers to monitor advanced analytics solutions built in Azure Databricks.
• Optimize performance and scalability of data processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data for reporting and analysis.
• Help maintain technical documentation, including data mappings, data dictionaries, and process flows.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in business intelligence, data engineering, and cloud computing.
• Manage day-to-day recurring data issues and access requests in a timely manner.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience (3-5 years) working in the space.
• Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server with proficiency in writing complex TSQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Solid understanding of ETL principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
• Familiarity with Azure Databricks and the ability to leverage it for advanced analytics and data processing.
• Azure certification
