Job Opening- Operations Data Entry Associate
Culture Opus is looking for an Operations Data Entry Associate, with a minimum of 2 years of work experience, to join their team. This position is available immediately and is a remote work option from any location around India.
Summary
As an Operations Data Entry Associate, you will act as a liaison between the clients Contact Center and marketplace and carrier representatives. The number of claims and appeals vary depending on the time of season. Your day-to-day responsibilities are rooted in validating Contact Center order escalations, filing claims and supporting the Operations Team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Submitting claims, checking claim statuses and appealing decisions
Enter data from Contact Center internal submission forms into external databases
Process multiple master data sets for use in a defined standard; this includes creation, updates, and audits according to guidelines
Reply to partner emails – including carrier, marketplace, contact center and warehouse – with order-level details, including customer information, invoices and shipment details
Maintaining filtered views in various spreadsheets to easily identify claims that require action and taking steps to resolve outstanding errors
Speak directly to carriers, marketplace staff, vendors or support staff via chat and phone using our internal contact center software
Take order-level actions, including cancellations, updating tracking/shipment information and issuing refunds/replacement when necessary
Identify and interpret patterns in complex data sets and apply those results using standard data techniques
Provide quality assurance of data, including but not limited to data integrity and normalization
Reporting of discrepancies in source or endpoint data sets
Collaboration with stakeholders as needed
Update progress daily in departmental trackers
Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum experience of 2 years working in Customer Service, Operations or Data- entry field
Basic computer skills and experience including typing, data entry, and use of internet- based software systems
Strong analytical capabilities
Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions and formulas, including using formulas, functions and pivot tables
Efficiently manage large datasets, and apply conditional formatting for data visualization
Basic knowledge of Google Workspace Systems (Sheets, Docs, Gmail)
Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming and normalization
Excellent attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with e-commerce marketplaces and WMS systems is a plus
Dependability — position requires being reliable, punctual, responsible, and dependable to fulfill job requirements
Adaptability/Flexibility — open to change pertaining to job duties, work schedule, and/or with internal processes and procedures
Proficient in reading, writing and comprehension of American English with excellent communication skills
