Job Responsibilities As part of the Offshore Operations team, the Operational Support Specialist is a key point of contact for the Onshore Operations teamWorking closely with the Onshore Teams to ensure the efficient and compliant completion of Deposit tasks.Cross functional in nature, the role will involve supporting the origination and in-life management of retail and SME deposits applications in addition to new product initiativesDaily Operation Tasks will include:Processing all applications through a workflow system effectively, within agreed SLAs and KPIs, and in line with company policies and procedures.Dealing with various tasks received in processing queue as per the application received for retail deposit customer.Sending appropriate Emails to customers as per the application receivedProcessing of Customer Emails (instructions/queries)Processing of Customer documents & validation them in-line with Banks policy.Processing of Funds received for deposit customers through various channels.Creation of accounts based on request from clients.Processing of Customer maturity & notices emailsEffectively complete ad-hoc tasks and initiatives as directed across the businessSupport other BAU requirements of Operations teams aside from primary activities.Have a clear understanding of Role of Operations in the Life Cycle of Product.Skills and Experience Understanding of the Banking Industry.Basic knowledge of corporate/retail banking products & concepts.Excellent communication both oral & written requiredComputer literate and the ability to work on a variety of IT platformsShould be a team player.Personal Attributes Energetic, enthusiastic, driven to go the extra mileFlexible, eager to learnOpen to occasional weekend work and/or evening hours when and if requiredWillingness to work flexibly and as part of ONE team, helping out in different business areas as requiredPassionate about delivering excellence in service and qualityAcademic Qualifications Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Finance.
