About the Role
This is no ordinary operations role. As an Operations Executive, you’ll be at the heart of the action, supporting live betting markets for two of the UK & Ireland’s biggest brands, Paddy Power and Betfair. You’ll play a key part in ensuring a seamless customer experience across every event and outcome.
Whether you’re coming from customer service, admin, hospitality or just love solving problems, this is a great opportunity to kickstart a career in trading operations. You’ll join a close-knit team who thrive on collaboration, curiosity, and sharp thinking. No betting experience? No worries, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Shift Pattern:
You’ll work on a 7-day rotating roster:
First 2 weeks are Monday–Friday (for training)
Post-training: You'll work 5 days per week, including regular weekend work
What You’ll Do
Support Live Markets: Monitor and manage betting markets, ensuring results and prices are accurate and timely.
Solve Problems Fast: Respond to live issues and escalate them appropriately to minimise customer impact.
Collaborate Globally: Work with trading and customer teams across Melbourne, Dublin, and Leeds to deliver operational excellence.
Elevate Customer Experience: Make every touchpoint seamless, resolving settlement issues or technical glitches with empathy and speed.
Drive Process Improvements: Log errors, spot patterns, and suggest smarter ways of working that support continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
You don’t need to know everything about betting or trading, we’re here to train you. But you’ll succeed if you’re a confident communicator who stays calm under pressure and loves being part of a high-performing team. You might be a great fit if you:
Are a natural problem solver who stays cool when things move fast
Have great attention to detail and a high level of computer literacy
Are curious, keen to learn and always looking for ways to do things better
Have experience in customer service, admin, or operations (or the drive to build it!)
Love the idea of being in the action during major sports and racing events
Enjoy working with a supportive, down-to-earth team in a business that’s big on learning and development
