Job Description
A seasoned Project Manager is needed with expertise in plastics, specifically within the toy industry. This role acts as a bridge between Design Teams and Factories, ensuring optimal product development, from concept to production.
Job Responsibilities:
• Participate in concept development meetings and suggest ideas to external Design Team.
• Identify research areas for new business opportunities and complete necessary research.
• Collaborate closely with factories to determine best materials and processes within product specifications.
• Create Specification Documents based on Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage factory quotations.
• Communicate final Spec Doc and costings to CEO for approval.
• Oversee production process from final Technical Drawings, prototyping to manufacturing.
• Review and approve Final Engineering Prototype (FEP) and Top of Production samples.
• Monitor production timelines and notify Head of Production about potential delays.
• Attend weekly status and company production meetings, reporting on metrics and project statuses.
Job Skills:
• Bachelors degree in Business, Technical, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in plastics manufacturing with knowledge in toy production.
• Experience within the toy industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Toyota Production System tools.
• Strong record in managing production schedules and meeting delivery goals.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP; basic understanding of CAD applications.
• PMP Certification preferred
