Job Title: Operations Executive (NVOCC Industry).
Location: Mumbai, India.
Training Period : 6 Months (Salary Rs. 20,000/-).
Probation Period : 6 Months (Salary Rs.40,000/-).
Job Summary:
We are looking for a fresh highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Executive to join our team in Mumbai. The Operations Executive will be responsible for coordinating and managing the operational activities within the Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) industry. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of logistics and shipping processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end operational activities related to NVOCC shipments, including documentation, booking, cargo handling, and delivery.
• Liaise with various stakeholders, including slot operators, agents, freight forwarders, and customers, to ensure smooth and timely execution of shipments.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading or Delivery order and other required documents.
• Communicate with customers to provide shipment updates, resolve inquiries, and address any operational issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with customers and ensure timely pickup of containers and delivery.
• Monitor and track shipment statuses using the company's online systems and tools, and provide regular updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Handle and resolve operational issues, such as delays, damages, and claims, in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, documentation, and customer interactions.
• Stay informed about industry regulations, shipping trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize operational processes.
Requirements:
• 70% and above scores in 10th and 12th academic years.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with logistics software and tools.
• Fluency in English and local language(s) is required.
