Pick a Book (PAB) is a global movement to inculcate the habit of reading. Like-minded people come together to share from books and engage in meaningful exchange of knowledge & ideas. Currently PAB is operational in 4 countries and 12 cities across India with a total of 600 + readers and 4 corporates actively participating in PAB.
Role Description
Reporting to National President, PAB India will be responsible for developing the market , setting up and manage operations at Vizag to drive PAB India’s vision, core values and code of ethics in pursuit of PAB India’s strategic development plan.
The ideal Operations Executive, PAB would have demonstrated a strong track-record for marketing, operations and managing a team.. This individual should be a regular reader and passionate about impacting lives by helping others, collaborative, personable, demonstrates strong communication skills, but also demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and strives for superior results and execution with excellence. He/she is willing to be held accountable and holds others accountable to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning the overall growth of the segment (PAB Public, PAB Juniors , PAB Teens and PAB institutions).
Planning and executing the launch of public, teens and junior clubs.
Planning and executing the launch of PAB Clubs at Institutions
Ensuring that the goals of PAB are achieved.
Implement marketing strategies including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative.
Ensuring the smooth flow of the club activities (in all five segments)
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for Operations
Monitoring and reporting the progress of the growth of PAB
Role Requirements:
Full-time position. Candidates must have strong leadership and organisational skills.
Commitment to 2 years to this role since start date. Term can be extended upon both parties agreeing to an extension..
Experience managing teams remotely and hiring/developing high-performing teams.
Strong leadership and people skills.
Excellent project management, organization, attention to detail, follow-up
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Strong analytical abilities to identify issues & self-start programs to address
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
