Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Operations Intern to join our team. The Operations Intern will work closely with our Operations Manager and field technicians to support the day-to-day operations of solar energy systems. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry and contribute to the success of our company.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist with the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules for solar energy systems.
Conduct site visits with field technicians to inspect solar installations and identify potential issues.
Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems related to solar inverters, panels, and other system components.
Support data collection and analysis efforts to monitor the performance of solar assets and identify opportunities for optimization.
Assist in the coordination of service calls and repairs, ensuring timely response and resolution of issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and improve efficiency.
Assist in the development of reports and documentation related to O&M activities.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Strong interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
Basic understanding of solar energy systems and components is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
