Job Title: Head of Plant Operations
Location:
Kishangarh, Ajmer(district), Rajasthan

As we scale new heights, we seek a dynamic Operations Head to manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing plant.
Job Summary:
The Operations Head will be responsible for leading the plant’s daily operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, workforce management, and operational discipline. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, process optimization skills, and the ability to implement best practices across all functional areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the plant, including production, maintenance, quality control, inventory, and dispatch.
Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
Manage production planning to meet demand forecasts and optimize plant utilization.
Lead, mentor, and motivate plant teams, including supervisors, operators, and support staff.
Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and control costs.
Maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental, and health standards.
Coordinate with other departments (sales, procurement, HR, logistics) to ensure smooth inter-departmental functioning.
Monitor plant KPIs and present regular performance reports to senior management.
Manage budgets for plant operations and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Solve operational challenges proactively and implement corrective actions promptly.
Lead initiatives for technology upgrades, lean manufacturing, and automation (where applicable).
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related field. (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
8+ years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing leadership roles; experience in marble, granite, construction materials, mining, or heavy manufacturing is a strong advantage.
Proven track record in operational efficiency, team management, and cost control.
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Familiarity with ERP systems and plant management software.
