Position - Operation/ Delivery Manager

Overview: -

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated operations Delivery Manager with a strong background in resource management, project management, and client liaison. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing resources, overseeing project execution, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Additionally, the candidate should possess expertise in profile management for bench employees to ensure optimal utilization of resources and the smooth functioning of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Operations Management
• Define mechanisms for governance, performance review, quality and utilization
• Manage expenses, assets, timesheets and departments. SharePoint
• Present regular summary of usage, expenses and cost-to-revenue ratio to leadership
• Bring new ideas for improvement in quality, utilization and profitability
• Explore new tools, platforms to improve productivity
• Work with RMs in managing the team, delivery, escalations and grievance

Resource Management:
• Develop and implement resource allocation strategies to ensure the right resources are assigned to projects based on skill sets and availability.
• Monitor resource utilization and workload to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Work closely with the department to identify training and development needs for employees to enhance their skills and abilities.
• Oversee resource forecasting to prepare for future project requirements and expansion plans.
• Work with Talent acquisition and account managers for resource requirements

Resource Alignment for customers and partners
• Manage the bench pool of employees, ensuring their skills are up-to-date and aligning their capabilities with potential project requirements.
• Facilitate the transition of bench employees to active projects, minimizing downtime and maximizing resource utilization.
• Coordinate with Department and project managers to identify suitable roles for bench employees based on their skill sets and interests.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Work with customers and partners in processing of profile

Vendor Management
• Identify the suitable vendor and perform due diligence
• Shortlist candidates and manage assessment
• Review vendor timesheets, invoices and other expenses
• Perform quality assurance on the vendor resource

Project Management: (Add-on)
• Collaborate with project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project timelines and milestones to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular project status meetings with teams to track progress and address any issues or risks.
• Provide guidance and support to project managers, helping them overcome challenges and ensuring successful project execution.

Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in an operations Manager or similar leadership role.
• Proven experience in resource management and project management, preferably in a similar industry or domain.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle complex situations and meet project objectives.
• Sound knowledge of profile management and workforce planning techniques.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
