About the Team/Service Location
The RMO Unit facilitates linkages between and provides support for all those involved in RMO management functions within Provider Services and across the sub-region.
The RMO Unit is responsible for providing:
Support for all those involved in RMO management functions across the sub regional districts, ensuring consistency of management practices
Employment agreement compliance, and administration of employment issues relating to RMOs
A strategic overview of and input to the RMO workforce, Multi-Employer Collective Agreement (MECA) and management issues.
Open communication between clinical and operational management, NZ Resident Doctor's Association (NZRDA), Specialty Trainees of NZ (STONZ) and RMOs.
