Description
- Develop strong partnerships with EMEIA store and market leadership through attending weekly field leadership calls, visiting stores virtually and in person and providing technical leadership for store performance. - Facilitate the feedback loop between the technology end-user and technology/GRS teams, focussing on the technology impact to the customer and employee experience. - Support EMEIA stores physically or virtually for all key retail moments, campaigns, NSOs, and refreshes, and provide mentorship to all stores during new initiative roll outs and high priority issues. - Act as a strategic partner to IS&T app teams and Retail Interactive Technology, to provide insight and feedback from stores that will guide and craft future improvements and roll outs. - Be a critical partner in all releases and engage and inform store teams about all changes, ensuring they have insight into the more detailed workings of IS&T. - Co-ordinate pilots and launches for IS&T teams and be available to support stores through all phases, ensuring seamless execution and clear communication back to partners. - Work closely with the IS&T helpline to ensure they are engaged with Retail and IS&T priorities, along side acting as a final point of escalation for significant issues impacting the stores. - Measure the quality of the interactions between the end user and our technology to help partners understand how store teams are utilising the technology. - Understand the Apple Online Store and Apple Store App performance of key campaigns, product launches, customer journey enhancements and releases, and apply this knowledge to in-store technology implementation. - Find opportunities in our in-store technology through qualitative and quantitative data analysis, discovery work, insight from teams and industry knowledge, and present this to partners across IS&T. - Support the seamless implementation of new technology across all EMEIA stores and drive adoption among the teams. - Lead all aspects of equipment delivery, resource scheduling and systems setup for NSOs and upgrades. Lead & support mentors through the NSO week(s). - Champion and measure the Technology Experience across stores and IS&T to understand the impact store technology has on business metrics. - Provide regular insight updates to leadership, efficiently representing the field & inspiring change. - Ability to use automation and tools to develop and maintain consistency within the networking infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
• In-depth knowledge of store technology and processes used in Apple Retail
• Understanding of key networking principles with deep technical foresight.
• Able to work alone and with remote peers both in EMEIA and across the globe.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to communicate within all levels of the Retail and IS&T organisations
• Outstanding time management and multitasking skills
• An ability to seamlessly shift between conversations with technical leaders, business leaders, and Apple Store teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience of vendor management
• An understanding of where technology intersects with Apple’s Retail strategy (for stores and online)
• A highly collaborative working style suited for a large distributed team
