We are a busy Optometric office located in the Place Bonaventure Mall in Chelmsford, ON.
We are seeking 2 detail orientated individuals to work in our on-site optical lab as a Lab Technician & a Frame Stylist to join our team. Hours of work are to be shared between 2 new staff are Mondays - Friday with Tuesday evenings, with potentially a few more days per week to cover staff holidays. We are looking to hire 2 individuals to work part-time throughout the work week.
Previous Optical Lab/Frame Selecting experience is definitely an asset but we are willing to train anyone whom is eager to learn a new skill and is able to multi-task during busy office hours.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Fabrication of prescription eyeglasses
Ordering Prescription eyeglass lenses
Helping patients select new eyeglasses
Dispense/adjust/repair eyeglasses
Pricing out prescription lenses
Maintaining lab cleanliness
Call Patients when their eyeglasses are ready
Monitor job status from optical labs and ensure accuracy and quality
Return frames and lenses covered under warranty (during quiet times)
Participate in personal and team development training and initiatives, including staff meetings & continuing education
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
