Job Summary and Qualifications
Responsible for supplying, equipping and performing scrub nurse role in the L&D ORs. Also responsible for all facets of sterile consciousness and safety in the OR. Appropriates procedural charges, manages all supplies and equipment and maintain inventory. Serves as a secretarial resource for the department , directs communication within the department, utilizes computer systems to enter patient information, places orders/charges.
In This Role You Will Have:
• Graduation from a Surgical Technician Program required
• Must Live within 30 minutes of the facility
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateHigh School Graduate / GED
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Background Check Required

These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care. We are a Level II NICU hospital. HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is CARF accredited for inpatient rehabilitation. Our facility offers a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. This program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. We are affiliated with HCA Florida Healthcare Division.
