Oracle and SQL Database Administrator

Responsibilities:
Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software (1+c).Hand on experience with database migrations.
Experience with Data guard techniques, standby database, Setting up crontab jobs and enterprise schedulers.
Hands on experience with setting and administration of OEM 13c.
Maintain enterprise security standards.
Refresh databases on demand using RMAN techniques or using logical backups.
Finding and debugging malfunctioning code.
Experience with backup tools like Rubrik.
Knowledge of supplemental log data mine.
Excellent communication skill Co-ordinating with app teams for any DB or APP changes.
Hand on experience with applying oracle patches.
Troubleshooting performance issues and tuning poorly performing SQL.Expertise with sql plan baselines and profiles.
SQL Server Installing and configuring SSDS, SSIS, SSRS Software (2012,2016,2026)Hands on experience in Migrating database, integration and reporting services.
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server Monitoring database backups daily.
In-depth knowledge of Restoring databases into non prod region using rubrik tool or other techniques.
React to job failure notification from Solar Winds.
Provide Input for capacity and performance management.
Working with systems team to add enough disk space.
Acknowledge user creation requests Maintain enterprise security standards.
Excellent communication skill Co-ordinating with app teams for any DB or APP changes.
Knowledge in setting up linked servers.
Troubleshooting performance issues.
