Oracle Database Admin – L3Primary Skill (Technical Skill): Oracle DBA, OS - Solaris/Linux/AIX/HP UNIX & WindowsTools – Monitoring / Ticketing / BackupSecondary Skill (Optional): Database - MySQL/MS SQL / Sybase / DB2 / PostgreSQL/MongoDB, Cloud – DaaS / IaaS · Handled large database estates and managed TB size of databases in Global Customer environment.· Installation and administration of multiple versions of databases on multiple Unix platforms and Windows servers· Design, implement administer high availability solutions including RAC, Golden Gate and Dataguard.· Hands on experience on ACFS disk groups management & Install, configure and manage ASM lib/instances in oracle· Hands on experience – DB Upgrades, Patch management, Plan and execute major migrations and upgrades.· Hands on experience of Database administration on Exadata machine. · Hands-on experience on Database RMAN operations including DB refresh, Clone, Migrate, Upgrade – host to host, host to VM· Real life experience in handling Disaster recovery design, planning, setup and administration.· Coordinate and work with database vendors for resolution on major incidents· Expert Knowledge of OEM(Product vendor) management for critical service requests· Expert in Provisioning and decommissioning of Databases.· Expert in SQL Plan management, SQL baseline and defining performance benchmarks and metrics.· Expert in DB Security features.· Periodic database performance reviews and tuning recommendations.· Proactive DB Performance Analysis using tools like AWR, ADDM, SQL Profiler, ASH, RAC Check, EXA Check & advisory views, and provide suggestions to application teams / business regd SQL / DB-level bottlenecks/optimizations.· Understanding of Upstream/Downstream systems (Server/Storage/Network).Write and troubleshoot shell scripting, SQL and PL/SQL scripts for effective DB admin
