Client is a Fortune 500 retail company (American MNC), with Captive Development Center/ Business Operations in Gurgaon
Hybrid(3 days work from office and 2 days from home)
Rotational Shift: 07:00 am - 04:00 pm IST/ 12:00 pm to 0+:00 pm IST
Experience Range: 10-15 years
Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field required
• Minimum of 5 years of Database Administration experience with administering and supporting multiple RDBMS databases for performance-critical, highly available systems on the UNIX/Linux platform
• Experience in various RDBMS Architecture, Configuration, Administration, and Directory Services
• Minimum of 2 years of data modeling experience with conducting performance tuning, backup/recovery,and scalability/capacity planning, in addition to PL/SQL, and scripting.
• Detailed understanding & experience of Linux operating systems and shell scripting
• Experience in Enterprise Replication concepts and tools (Golden Gate, Active Data Guard)
• Require excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with backup/restore functionality using RMAN, Data Domain, and Recovery Manager
• Experience creating automation tools for managing relational databases (auditing, account management,backup/restore, discovery, schema deployment).
• Experience managing servers in large-scale, geographically diverse environments.
• Excellent performance tuning skills (AWR, tracing, explaining plans, SQL, and Instance tuning, Profiler)
• Experience in a consultancy role, assisting and mentoring junior DBA staff
