As an Oracle DBA you would be responsible for:
• Installation, configuration, patching & administration of Oracle 1+c databases across multiple environments
• Perform routine DBA tasks like Monitoring, Performance tuning, Troubleshooting Cloning and provide developer support.
• Perform root cause analysis on failures. Resolve performance tuning related issues and queries
• Implement and test disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure best practices of database access and security
• Work closely with the development teams to review the DB schema changes in every release cycle
• Monitor the DB performance for slow queries, indexes and various other DB metrics
• Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
• Experience on Database migration and performance monitoring tools
Qualifications:
• 5 to 8 years of DBA experience in Oracle Databases (11g, 12c and 1+c Oracle Real Cluster experience)
• Possess database configuration Performance Tuning Unix or Linux experience.
• Experience in Linux Administration and shell scripting.
• Good understanding of core support processes and Change Management.
• Exposure on AWS RDS (MySQL and PostgreSQL), AWS DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redshift, DMS, CloudWatch
• Interested to learn AWS Cloud Technologies and tools
