Role Summary:
As a Database Administrator, proficiency in Oracle 12c and 1+c is expected, along with hands-on expertise in MS-SQL Server. Skills in Data Guard implementation and maintenance across Linux and Windows platforms are required. Familiarity with database tuning, performance troubleshooting, and backup and recovery using Oracle RMAN, Export/Import, and Datapump is necessary. Additionally, adaptability and responsibility for configuring and maintaining IIS servers and generating monthly and ad-hoc reports are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Must have experience working with Oracle 12c and 1+c databases.
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with MS-SQL Server.
• Strong exposure to Data Guard implementation and maintenance.
• Must have experience working on both Linux and Windows platforms.
• Basic knowledge of database tuning and performance troubleshooting.
• Strong experience with backup and recovery (Oracle RMAN, Export/Import, and Datapump).
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
• Must possess solid troubleshooting techniques at the database, host, and application levels.
• Responsible for preparing monthly reports and various reports as required by management.
• Ability to work with the Application Development Team as a DBA.
• Responsible for configuring and maintaining IIS servers.
Qualification:
• 2+ years of experience
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech
