Position: Oracle DBA consultant
Experience: 3 to 8 years
Location: Bangalore(WFO)
Job Description:
• Experience in Oracle DBA support activities in Unix environments with various versions of oracle, Good Understanding of Architecture, day to administration, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, Monitoring , Performance Tuning and Diagnosis
• Oracle DBA knowledge and hands on exposure in Standalone environments.
• experience in maintenance of large size databases
• Hands on skills in partitioning, tuning and diagnostics in an Oracle environment
• Good understanding of database migration and schema migration activities
• Experience in end to end installation, configuration, administration and supporting of oracle databases in various applications and integrations environment.
• Hands on working Knowledge in all aspects of Core DBA’s Oracle database administrations, UNIX and other Operating System utilities.
• Database Upgrade/ migrate activities experience.
• RDBMS exposure like Backups, Recoveries, RMAN, RAC
• Experience in Oracle Cluster Service Troubleshooting.
• Experience in ASM and Dataguard Troubleshooting.
• Knowledge in Oracle Cloud.
• Co-ordinate, troubleshoot, resolve issues and deal with SR’s and get the issues resolved.
• Working DBA knowledge in Oracle APPS DBA environment is a plus.
• Must be a good team player with good documentation practices and flexible to handle
