Job description:

 Performing both Oracle and also operating system performance Monitoring and the

necessary adjustments.

 Be able to provide a strategic database direction for the organization.

Key requirements:

 5 plus experience with ORACLE database administration.

 Knowledge in Oracle 11g/12c.

 Knowledge on Data guard.

 Knowledge on RMAN backup and recovery.

 Knowledge on RAC, installation, configuration, administration of ASM is an

added advantage.

 Strong knowledge of RDBMS, oracle db architecture, memory structure.

 Strong experience in Backup and restore.

 UNIX and shell scripting skills is an added advantage.

 Ability to prioritize, multitask and work with onshore and offshore teams Skills

Desired.

 Performance tuning/troubleshooting complex queries and server

performance issues.

 Proactively monitor the database and implement solution to reduce the

incidents/issues.

 24/7 production support.

 Knowledge on SQL Queries is an added advantage.

 Knowledge on SQL Server installation, Database backups and recovery is

added an advantage.

 Strong Data guard knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

 Supporting the day to day development activities by working with the

application development team on database issues.

 Good communication skills, strong Teamwork and organization skills.

Minimum Qualification: B.Tech/MCA/BSc (Comp Sc.)/MSc (Comp Sc)/Any other qualification
