Roles and Responsibilities
• Understanding of various data platform technologies:
• Non Microsoft database technologies :Oracle, PostgreSOL, MySOL, Cassandra, Mango db, Redis, Couch database, Sybase, lnformix,Teradata,MariaDB,Sybase, Elasticsearch,VSAM, Access,Redis, Vertica, DB2 etc.
• Microsoft: Azure SOL/ Azure SOL Ml
• Hands-on DBA skills i.e. set up Users, Roles, Changing the configuration files, Installation, Configuration, Clustering, setting up High availability Disaster Recovery in Azure
• Experience in performing data migrations & upgrades/modernizations, performance tuning
• Experience in creating data migration plans (Pre-Migration, Migration & Post Migration steps), Testing plans,data synchronization
• Experience in leveraging Azure DevOps / CICD
