Job Description of Package Sorter and Helper:
Become a part of UPS and take on a crucial position within our team during the peak period. Join forces with a Package Delivery Driver to distribute packages directly to customers. This on-the-go role is ideal for those who enjoy a lively environment, customer connectivity, and the freedom to adjust their working hours.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Package Sorter and Helper:
• Ride with a Package Delivery Driver to support the delivery of packages along a pre-planned route.
• Engage in consistent movements of transferring packages onto and off the truck.
• Provide a welcoming and expert customer greeting service.
• Provide assistance in handling parcels of different sizes and dimensions, including lifting up to 70 pounds as needed.
• Work flexibility is established in accordance with operational needs, typically with a meeting location conveniently close to your home.
