Job Title: Packing Officer
Department: Logistics/Operations
Reports to: Warehouse Manager/Logistics Supervisor
Job Summary: The Packing Officer is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate packing of products for shipment, storage, and distribution. This role involves coordinating packing activities, monitoring inventory, and maintaining high-quality packaging standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Packing and Packaging:
- Pack products according to customer requirements, company standards, and industry regulations.
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and marking of packages.
2. Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and supplies.
- Reorder materials as needed.
3. Quality Control:
- Inspect packed products for damage, quality, and accuracy.
- Address any quality issues promptly.
4. Warehouse Operations:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
5. Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain packing records, reports, and documentation.
- Update inventory management systems.
6. Compliance:
- Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience: 1-2 years in packing, logistics, or warehouse operations.
3. Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift up
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
1. Warehouse environment.
2. Physical demands: standing, walking, lifting, bending.
3. May require overtime, weekends, or flexible scheduling.
