Job Summary
We are a notary firm situated in Laval seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal or Administrative Assistant to support our wonderful team.

Responsibilities

Actively supporting the firm’s daily operations.
Drafting various notarial legal documents, including deeds of sale, immovable hypothecs, mandates in case of incapacity, wills, and other standard legal instruments.
Ensuring precision and accuracy in all legal drafting.
Preparing final reports to be sent to banks.
Collects and organizes required documentation from clients and collaborators.
Communicating with clients to schedule appointments and ensuring proper follow-ups.
Managing the notary’s schedule and calendar jointly with the senior assistant.
Contributing to the smooth operation of the firm through administrative efficiency, structured work methods, and strong autonomy.
Perform data entry tasks into the legal system.
Support the firm's activities by tracking deadlines, scheduling meetings, and coordinating tasks.
Qualifications

Strong written and spoken English
Strong written and spoken French
Experience in customer service
Strong proofreading, writing skills, and attention to detail are essential
Excellent data entry skills
Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills are required

Nous sommes une étude notariale située à Laval à la recherche d’un(e) technicien(ne) juridique ou adjoint(e) administratif(ve) organisé, rigoureux et soucieux du détail afin de soutenir notre excellente équipe.

Responsabilités

Participer activement au soutien des opérations quotidiennes de l’étude.
Rédiger divers documents juridiques notariés, incluant des actes de vente, des hypothèques immobilières, des mandats en cas d’inaptitude, des testaments et autres actes usuels.
Assurer la précision et l’exactitude de la rédaction juridique.
Préparer les rapports finaux à transmettre aux institutions financières.
Recueillir et organiser les documents requis auprès des clients et des collaborateurs.
Communiquer avec les clients afin de planifier les rendez-vous et assurer les suivis nécessaires.
Gérer l’horaire et le calendrier du notaire conjointement avec l’adjointe senior.
Contribuer au bon fonctionnement de l’étude grâce à une efficacité administrative, une méthode de travail structurée et une forte autonomie.
Effectuer la saisie de données dans le système juridique.
Soutenir les activités de l’étude en assurant le suivi des échéances, la planification des rencontres et la coordination des tâches.
Qualifications

Excellente maîtrise du français parlé et écrit.
Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais parlé et écrit.
Expérience en service à la clientèle.
Excellentes compétences en rédaction et en révision, avec un souci marqué du détail.
Excellentes aptitudes en saisie de données.
Excellentes habiletés téléphoniques et solides compétences en communication professionnelle.
Pay: $38,753.15-$60,000.00 per year
