We’ve got multiple roles available across two teams – Park Lands Parking Attendants and UPark Support Officers – so if you’ve got a passion for service and a knack for thinking on your feet, we want to hear from you. Please let us know if your preference is for the Park Lands Parking Attendant, or the UPark Car Park Support position.

Events at the Adelaide Showgrounds, Bonython Park, Park 22 and 23.

We have a variety of shifts available 7 days a week from 5.45am until midnight, dependent on events.


Park Lands Parking Attendant


Help keep Adelaide’s iconic Park Lands welcoming and well-managed during busy event seasons. You’ll be out and about, guiding drivers, supporting event setups, and helping people find their way.


Key parts of the role:

Assisting with parking during events on the Park Lands
Providing great customer service to eventgoers
Managing small cash transactions and ensuring accurate records
Helping maintain clean, safe parking areas
Working closely with security and operations teams

This is a great role if you enjoy being outdoors, like variety, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly for visitors.


UPark Car Park Support & Central Control Room Operator


Prefer to be behind the scenes? This role supports Adelaide’s UPark car parks and Central Bus Station through a mix of on-site and remote operations.


Key parts of the role:

Monitoring car park and bus station operations via CCTV
Assisting customers remotely through the UPark system
Performing inspections and reporting maintenance issues
Handling machine troubleshooting and basic cash handling duties
Supporting evacuations and safety protocols in emergencies.

Perfect for someone who’s tech-savvy, calm under pressure, and enjoys variety in their day.


About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

An unencumbered driver’s license is essential for the Car Park Support & Central Control Room Operator position.
Previous experience in a cashiering or customer service environment.
Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to effectively liaise and engage with customers and other members of the public.
A sound understanding of the operation of computerised cashiering equipment is desirable.
Prior experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
Some experience in use of MS Office suite and web applications.
