We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time French teacher to join our language department. As a part-time French teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in French language and culture to students of varying proficiency levels.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive French language lessons in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
• Create and implement effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes cultural understanding.
• Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments, providing constructive feedback to support their language development.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources, including multimedia tools, to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum objectives and share best practices in language instruction.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to address any concerns and provide updates on student progress.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in French language (C1 level or above) with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in a classroom setting, with a demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students.
• Familiarity with language teaching methodologies and techniques, such as communicative language teaching and task-based learning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Enthusiasm for language teaching and a commitment to fostering cultural appreciation and global competence among students.
