Job Summary
The College of Coastal Georgia Department of Mathematics and Data Science seeks qualified applicants for the part time applicant pool in the area of Data Science. This is an applicant pool for teaching in the School of Arts & Sciences. Applicants will be reviewed on an as-needed basis and hiring may occur up to the start date of a given semester.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities -
The successful candidate will teach Data Science courses contingent to the needs of the College. Essential duties include: maintaining office hours, preparing lesson plans, lectures, and other course materials such as quizzes and exams, completing required trainings, teaching at the Brunswick campus or Camden Center either face-to-face, hybrid, or online, and submission of final grades and attendance reports.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
• MS or PHD in Data Science or related fields with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Data Science.
Required Experience
• Evidence of professional development
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
• Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level
• Successful online teaching experience
