Join our dedicated team as a Part-time Kennel Attendant and become a vital part of providing exceptional care for our furry residents! Experienced, dedicated, reliable and compassionate kennel attendant wanted for busy specialty oncology practice and animal rescue.
Integrative Veterinary Oncology (IVO) offers both eastern and western approaches to cancer treatment in dogs and cats including surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, ozone and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We also see non-cancer patients for alternative therapies. IVO also has a thriving foster program for dogs and cats and works closely with area rescue groups and the county shelters to provide care for injured or sick stray animals.
The kennel attendant will be responsible for the care and treatment of our foster and resident animals including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, goats, pigs, and fish.
Duties include but are not limited to: routine cleaning of animal cages/kennels, walking dogs and cleaning cat rooms, administration of prescribed medications and supplements, bathing animals and trimming nails as needed, and routine cleaning of facility, including common areas such as kitchen and bathrooms.
Hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 12 pm.

IVO is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is not allowed by clients or employees on the grounds at any time.
Experience
Candidates should possess prior kennel experience or background in animal husbandry, veterinary assistance, or clinic environments.
