Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to engage in physical activities, promote a healthy lifestyle, and develop essential motor skills. This role requires a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that encourages students to appreciate the importance of physical fitness and teamwork.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for physical education.
Teach students various sports, fitness activities, and health concepts.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement.
Create a safe and inclusive environment for all students during physical activities.
Organize and supervise physical education events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
Skills
Strong knowledge of physical education principles, sports rules, and fitness techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans, assessments, and events effectively.
Patience and adaptability in addressing the varying needs of students.
Certification in First Aid/CPR is preferred but not required.
Join us in promoting health, wellness, and an active lifestyle among our students! This is a part - time position with grades k-6. You would teach two days a week from 12:30-3 pm with paid prep time.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8,400.00-$12,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 5 per week
