JOB SUMMARY
As a Part-Time Retail Associate, you will create an enjoyable shopping experience for customers and assist in essential store operations, aiming to achieve both personal and store sales goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Exceed personal and store sales targets consistently.
• Accurately follow all operational and loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and stockroom.
• Communicate effectively with store management regarding needs and issues.
• Stay updated on current fashion trends to better serve customers.
• Efficiently perform all point of sale transactions.
• Complete assigned tasks promptly and effectively.
• Provide exceptional service to create a memorable experience for all customers.
• Complete all necessary training programs.
• Embody and promote the Journeys culture within the team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Retail sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• A strong desire to thrive in a challenging retail setting.
• Commitment to continuous learning.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to climb, reach, bend, and lift items up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to stand for long periods.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
