Job Description
Co-lead the autism resource unit alongside the SENDCo
Plan, deliver, and coordinate specialist teaching for small groups, 1:1, and class support
Work with staff to ensure differentiated learning and appropriate support strategies
Promote positive behaviour and a calm, purposeful learning environment
Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals
Track and assess student progress, contributing to SEN reviews and monitoring
Lead elements of the Learning Support Department and share best practice in SEN
Provide training and guidance to staff on SEN strategies and approaches
About You
Qualified teacher with experience in SEN/ASC provision
Strong understanding of inclusive teaching approaches and differentiated learning
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of all pupils
Enthusiastic, proactive, and solution-focused
