Centrapay is a New Zealand payments platform building smarter, lower-cost ways for people and businesses to pay. We sit at the intersection of open banking and everyday retail, turning account-to-account payments into something practical, fast, and merchant-friendly.
Our flagship product, Payap, is a bank-to-bank mobile payments app that lets customers pay by scanning a QR code in-store, online, or at a self-service kiosk. Merchants benefit from faster settlement, lower acceptance costs, and no new hardware. Payap runs across existing EFTPOS, POS, kiosk, and e-commerce integrations on the Centrapay network.

About The Role
The Partner Success Executive role is designed for someone looking to build experience in sales, payments, fintech, and partnerships.
Working closely with the Channel Manager and wider commercial team, you’ll support Centrapay’s partners, helping them understand, implement and manage our solutions, and deliver great outcomes for their business customers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, learning how partnerships work in a real-world payments ecosystem, and wants to grow into a commercial leadership and/or channel management role.
What You'll Do
Partner Support & Relationship Building
Support day-to-day communication with partners
Help coordinate partner check-ins, updates, and follow-ups
Build trusted relationships
Partner Enablement
Help partners understand Payap and Centrapay’s value proposition
Assist partners with onboarding merchants, including documentation, training, and coordination with internal teams
Support partner sales teams with materials, FAQs, and basic product education
Cross-functional Coordination
Work with Sales, Product, and Technology teams to support partner needs
Help track partner requests, issues, and progress
Assist with launches, integrations, and partner-led initiatives
Reporting & Insights
Help maintain partner records, account notes, and activity tracking
Support reporting on partner activity, pipeline, and adoption
Gather partner feedback and share insights with the team
Requirements
Who we're looking for
3 years+ experience in customer success, account support, sales, or a related role
Interest in payments, fintech, or technology (experience helpful but not essential)
Strong communication and organisation skills
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
Willingness to learn and take feedback on board
Ability to manage tasks, follow processes, and meet deadlines
