SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting in maintaining accurate inventory records for all parts at the IRIS USA, Inc. facilities. This is achieved through periodic physical inventories, cycle counting, manual counting, adjustments and working with other departments to resolve inventory discrepancies. Also processes the receipts of inventoried items and non-inventoried supplies from outside suppliers in absence of receiving clerk.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Daily stocktaking, which includes physical counting, auditing, reconciliations delegated by the Parts Inventory Control Analyst.
Checks negative locations provided by the Inventory Analyst and aids in corrections.
Collects and process’s location discrepancy sheets on a daily basis.
Monitors location 101031 for regrind or destroyed product and makes the necessary adjustments.
Monitors the 800000 locations (machine side location) to eliminate false positive inventory records of parts caused by wrong scans or incomplete reporting of product conversions.
Maintains integrity of Production Labels and Label area
Actively participates in annual physical inventories by assisting with planning, scheduling, training, and execution.
Performs cycle counting of all parts storage locations.
Responsible for Parts Inventory Control at any facility needed.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
A high school diploma, or equivalent, and 2 years of inventory control experience in a finished goods or parts warehouse environment is required. Bachelor’s degree in business and or Finance a plus.
Knowledge of:
Skill in:
Must have a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and previous experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Access.
Must possess very good math skills.
Must be detail oriented, analytical, and work accurately.
Good oral, writing and communication skills are required.
Strong interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to:
Interact with employees at all levels in the Maker Distribution, Vendor Distribution, Production Scheduling and Production departments.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to effectively coordinate activities with other departments.
