Rate: $25-$30.00
Work hour: Minimum 30 hours/week guaranteed
Job descriptions:
Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before
production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety
regulations.
Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients.
Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry
goods.
Preparing pastry fillings.
Monitoring oven and steamer temperatures and product appearance to determine
baking times.
Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, steaming, unloading, de-panning and
cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products.
Glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing if required.
Operating machines which roll and mould dough and cut in noodles and dimpling
pastries.
Emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment.

We operate from Monday to Sunday, we currently have a pastry cook waiting to pass on his knowledge on how to efficiently run the cafe for your first few weeks before they move on.

REQUIREMENTS
relevant Qualification or
Minimum 1 years of proven experience as a pastry cook
Taking responsibility for the food production with a hands-on approach
Building positive relationships with staff
Adhering to all relevant health and safety & food safety standards
Identify, develop and maintain establishment policies and procedures
