Job Description
MRI Software is seeking a Payment Operations Analyst to join our Payment Operations Team! This individual will be part of a team that monitors and supports the payment operations processes and workflows of MRI’s RentPayment platform. This role encompasses all diagnostic and query-based aspects of the RentPayment platform. Working closely the development, product and relationship teams, this role is essential to drive platform performance.
Essential Functions Include
• Provide QA, development, production support
• Resolve complex customer and system issues that may require escalation
• Perform testing to tactically isolate root cause of issues
• Clearly and concisely report system defects to Development Team
• Demonstrate exemplary problem-solving skills and ability to quickly identify appropriate solutions and workarounds
• Take ownership and accountability of issues and see them through to complete resolution
• Use SQL to gather information for troubleshooting, provide custom reports and test application functionality
• Create SQL update scripts to be executed on Production database
• Monitor batching issues to the processors and to PPS for disbursements
• Maintain documentation for troubleshooting steps
• Monitoring scheduled tasks/updating and configuring tasks as necessary
Skills/Requirements
• Experience interacting directly with clients/customers
• Experience interacting with sql server
• Experience interacting with an IT ticketing platform such as Jira
• Knowledge of the Office Suite of products
Must be able to receive and understand instructions, and carry out those instructions
