Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a well estalished manufacturer near the Plymouth area seeking a Payroll Accountant for their team!
This position offers;
• Pay: $65,000-$80,000/yr
• M-F 8am-5pm (flexible)
• Full Benefits, PTO, 401k match

Job Duties/Description:
• Maintenance and audit payroll input/output of employee records
• Processing, balancing, transmitting, and receiving payrolls to and from payroll system
• Calculating bonuses and Commissions
• Assist with various payroll, tax, reconciliations and GL entries and audits
• Analyze and set up accurate payroll withholding for federal, state, and local taxes
• Solid understanding of payroll tax regulations and accounting
• Create reports in various formats as required
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and management
• Follow prescribed procedures and workflow
• Multi State/Local taxing set up and reporting
• Payroll related training and/or workshops
• Federal, state and local compensation and tax compliance
• Payroll Accounting / General Ledger Interface
Requirements:
• 3-5 plus years of payroll processing and accounting background
• Strong analysis, organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible, inventive, positive attitude - self-starter with a collaborative desire to see the team succeed
• Comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization
