The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, a keen eye for accuracy, and a passion for ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
• Process payroll, payroll tax, and benefits in compliance with federal, state, & local regulations as well as company policies.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Administer employee benefits including retirement plan, health insurance, TDI, unemployment, holidays and pay leave.
• Perform other accounting functions as assigned.
Education & Experience
• Minimum associate degree in Accounting/ Finance coupled with 4 years of progressive experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suit and payroll software.
• Strong organizational skills with keen eye for detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable qualifications,
• Familiar with payroll & benefits regulations
• Certified payroll experience is a plus
