Qualifications
The Payroll Acccountant must have Payroll experience, and at least 4 years of GL experience
Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant or in a similar role involving payroll and accounting functions
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, general ledger accounting, and Microsoft Excel; Paylocity experience is helpful
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or business-related field

In this role, you’ll handle bi-weekly payroll processing for up to 350 employees, while taking on key accounting responsibilities that make a direct impact on the organization
The Payroll Accountant must be capable of working independently, be self-motivated and have a strong eye for detail as you uncover and investigate variances
Payroll Processing: Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for up to 350 employees, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Payroll Reconciliations: Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Journal Entries: Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
Month-End Assistance: Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations, alleviating the workload from other accounting staff
Cross-Department Collaboration: Assist other divisions with month-end inventory processes, particularly for F& B outlets and events

Are you an experienced Payroll Accountant looking for your next opportunity? We’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Accountant to join our client in the Real Estate Management industry. In this role, you’ll handle bi-weekly payroll processing for up to 350 employees, while taking on key accounting responsibilities that make a direct impact on the organization. The Payroll Accountant must be capable of working independently, be self-motivated and have a strong eye for detail as you uncover and investigate variances. Key Responsibilities For The Payroll Accountant

Requirements
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant or in a similar role involving payroll and accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, general ledger accounting, and Microsoft Excel; Paylocity experience is helpful.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Familiarity with month-end financial processes and inventory reconciliation is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or business-related field.
