We are in search of a Payroll Accountant to join our team in Plymouth, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for handling payroll tasks, working with an in-house system, and ensuring accuracy in all accounting functions. Responsibilities:
• Accurately process weekly payroll for over 650 employees across multiple states.
• Maintain and manage the HR Payroll System, ensuring all the information is up-to-date.
• Work on full cycle payroll, ensuring all facets from processing to reconciliation are handled efficiently.
• Manage HRIS Payroll System, keeping track of all employee data and payroll variables.
• Handle payroll taxes in-house, ensuring all tax documents and payments are accurate and timely.
• Collaborate with HR personnel in different plants for the submission of timesheets.
• Effectively learn and use the in-house accounting software system.
• Assist in auditing payroll and accounting data for accuracy.
• Process and reconcile payroll, ensuring all payouts are correct and timely.
• Handle payroll functions for both union and non-union employees.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge of Accounting Functions and Accrual Accounting
• Experience in Auditing and Automated Payroll
• Familiarity with HR Payroll System and Full Cycle Payroll
• Proficiency in HRIS Payroll System and Independent Systems - Payroll
• Experience with Multistate Payroll and Local Payroll Tax
• Knowledge of Payroll and Payroll Functions
• Experience in handling Payroll for more than 500 Employees
• Familiarity with Payroll Taxes and the ability to Process Payroll
• Experience in Reconciling Payroll and Tax - Payroll
