Job description
Job Title: Registrar (Pediatrics) – Fresher
Qualification: MD Pediatrics / DCH
Experience: Fresher or up to 1 year
Location: Thane, Mumbai, India
Salary: Up to 10 – 11 LPA
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registrar (Pediatrics) to join a reputed cancer treatment facility based in Thane, Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to pediatric patients, including those undergoing specialized oncology treatments, under the supervision of senior consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical care to infants, children, and adolescents
Assist consultants in diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedures, especially in pediatric oncology cases
Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
Handle emergency cases and provide immediate medical attention when required
Participate in ward rounds, OPD consultations, and IPD management
Support care of pediatric patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or related treatments
Counsel parents/guardians regarding patient condition and treatment plans
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and clinical guidelines
Coordinate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
MD Pediatrics or DCH from a recognized institution
Valid medical registration (State Medical Council / NMC)
Good clinical knowledge and patient management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work in shifts and emergency duties
