Job Description
This is a part time role (4 days a week).
About the role:
As a P&C Advisor, your duties will include (but not limited to) the following:
Recruitment, selection and onboarding support.
Providing Advisory support to employees and management.
Contributing to employee relations and engagement activities.
Contributing to all aspects of the employee lifecycle processes.
Interpret industrial instruments and provide advice to employees and management.
Preparing reports, analysing data and providing insights to management.
Work closely with the P&C Specialist and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations of the P&C team.
Who will the successful applicant be?
2-5 years’ experience in a role delivering the full operations of end-to-end employee life cycle, in a medium size business (school or other).
Certificate or tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent field.
Experience in handling level 2 workplace queries, complaints and grievances.
Strong knowledge of HR legislation and capability in interpreting industrial instruments.
Experience liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrate high levels of integrity, honesty, empathy and collaboration in delivering positive outcomes for the School.
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism with an unwavering commitment to ethical conduct, discretion and confidentiality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Positive and proactive attitude.
Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Desirable attributes
Human Resources experience in a Faith-based school or other educational environment.
Experience in implementing an HRIS system.
Experience in project management, policy development and process improvement.
Experience in WGEA reporting.
Lives an authentically Christian life, with integrity, honesty and empathy.
