Based at our corporate head office in Milton and working with the People and Culture team, this role has responsibility for the delivery of people related information and tasks, ensuring efficient handling of inquiries and requests related to a range of HR functions including talent, training and development, partnering and advisory, payroll and workplace relations.

Your role will include:

• provide initial support for common and straightforward HR related queries and tasks
• assist team members with self-service tools and resources
• centralised inbox management
• assist with recruitment processes including candidate communication, scheduling interviews and coordinating compliance checks
• support P&C Business Partners and Advisors in managing employee relations and policy guidance
• assist with the coordination of training programs and track participation in the Learning Management System
• address basic payroll queries and assist with payroll processing as required
• support the formalisation and documentation of changes in employee terms and conditions, including preparing and distributing change letters and other documents
• assist in the preparation and execution of new employee contracts

You will have a strong customer service orientation, providing friendly and professional support to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be a natural collaborator, who enjoys working together to achieve goals.

You will bring:
• passion, commitment and belief in young people
• minimum of 2 years’ experience in a HR support or coordination role
• strong organisational and time management skills
• proficiency in MS Office suite and experience working with HR software
• ability to assess and resolve basic HR issues independently
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• high level of attention to detail
• demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
• approachable, energetic, and positive attitude
