We're now seeking a People & Culture Advisor to join our collaborative and high-performing P&C team in a permanent full-time role, based at our St Leonards Support Office with flexible hybrid working. This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with Regional and Campus Leaders, delivering meaningful support across both strategic and operational HR matters to help drive a high-performing, values-led and child-safe workforce.
What You'll Do
As a trusted advisor and key member of the team, you'll:
Coach and support leaders on employee relations, performance, and people processes
Partner on complex ER cases, investigations and issue resolution
Drive engagement, retention and team performance strategies
Deliver employee inductions and facilitate targeted training in collaboration with L&OD
Support succession planning, internal talent pipelines and workforce planning
Lead performance processes and partner on improvement plans
Champion recognition initiatives and embed a strong, positive culture
Partner with leaders on WHS compliance and safety-related guidance
Support remuneration reviews, EVP initiatives and policy updates
Work cross-functionally with Payroll, Talent, Education, Safety and more
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who combines sound HR knowledge with empathy, professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset. You'll ideally bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
2-5 years' experience in a generalist HR or advisor role
Experience advising across multiple sites or in multi-site environments
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Confidence navigating sensitive matters with integrity and care
Knowledge of the early childhood or care sector (highly regarded)
A current Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
