People & Culture Manager

Job Description

This is an opportunity to build a best-in-class people function—creating programs, policies, and initiatives that support capability development, employee engagement, leadership growth, and a thriving firm culture. You will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, working closely with the Leadership Team to align people strategies with business goals while also rolling up your sleeves to get things done.

The role will be part time, 3 days a week, based in our Sydney CBD office.

Key Responsibilities

Shape and drive a positive, growth-oriented culture aligned with our values: We Help More, We Strive for Excellence, We Act with Compassion.

Develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, career development, and leadership capability.

Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.

Introduce learning & development frameworks and succession planning initiatives.

Lead corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs and employee wellbeing initiatives.

Ensure HR compliance, develop policies, and optimize processes for efficiency.

About You

5+ years of experience in People & Culture or Organisational Development.

Passionate about culture-building, leadership development, and people growth.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills—you can influence and engage at all levels.

A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution—comfortable rolling up your sleeves.

Experience in a fast-growing business, preferably in professional services or legal industries.

Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in NSW.
